Venarchie Contracting Pty Ltd is owned and managed by Allan J Virieux and has been trading for the past seventeen years. From its inception the company has expanded gaining a broad range of experience in the Civil Construction Industry.

The most recent addition to the Company has been the acquisition of the Tasmanian franchise of Streetprint, an innovative and efficient alternative to plain asphalt, giving the look of paving with choices of colour and pattern. Now operating is our new state of the art Speco Asphalt Mixing Plant. Mixing approx 80 tonne per hour the plant is a quick and inexpensive way of suppling Tasmania with top quality asphalt.  The asphalt plant is to DIER requirements and has met various environmental standards.  

Allan has twenty years experience is this industry, from driveways, car parks, road works, deformations to road surfacing. Venarchie Contracting has, and is presently undertaking various asphalt, sealing, construction and maintenance projects in Launceston and other locations in the north of the state.

Venarchie Contracting does not restrict itself to working just in the north. We have completed work recently in the St Helens and Scottsdale areas and are currently undertaking construction & sealing works for the local councils.

Venarchie Contracting Pty Ltd is committed to maintaining their integrated management system that has current QMS certification through the civil Contractors Federation.

Venarchie currently has 30 employees and has a wide range of plant & machinery that includes an asphalt paver, bitumen sprayer, 4, 7 & 13 tonne excavators, 4 ten yard tip trucks & trailers, bobcat, broom, grader and a self loading road profiler.
